VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Technicians are responsible for mobile and land-based hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures such as venipuncture and I.V. catheter placement, pharmacy and inventory duties, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, assisting in surgical procedures, performing sedation and anesthesia, outpatient treatments and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs. Okay, sounds like same old same old, right? Nope! We welcome the experienced veterinary technician who wants to use the aforementioned skills, continue learning new ones through a generous CE allowance AND would thrive on the variety and pace of mobile and land-based companion animal primary care practice. If you would enjoy being part of a team, having respected input, helping clients understand the WHY behind recommendations, are Fear Free Certified Elite (or in the process of becoming so) and have a seriously good sense of humor while being a technical superstar with a genuine interest in medicine, please contact us.
